Borth Coastal Defences

Trees and peat deposits associated with the submerged forest were recording as part of a watching brief during construction of sea defences on the foreshore at Borth. An assessment of samples hasprovided an indication of the changing environment during the later Mesolithic through to the early Bronze Age when the land was inundated.
